TripAdvisor Boards Google Antitrust Train With New EU Claim

Law360, New York (April 3, 2012, 6:15 PM EDT) -- Travel booking website TripAdvisor Inc. on Tuesday added to the mounting pile of antitrust allegations against Google, filing a complaint with the European Union's antitrust watchdog claiming the Web powerhouse has manipulated search results and advertisements.

TripAdvisor lodged its complaint days after fellow travel site Expedia filed a similar claim with the commission, contending Google wrongly tramples competitors by favoring certain search results.
