Cancer Clinics To Pay $3.8M To Put FCA Claims Into Remission

Law360, New York (April 3, 2012, 7:48 PM EDT) -- The Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia LLC and its affiliates have agreed to pay $3.8 million to settle whistleblower claims that they overbilled Medicare for certain unnecessary prostate cancer treatments in violation of the False Claims Act, the U.S. Department of Justice said Tuesday.
