Jason Natural Products Not So Natural, Suit Claims

Law360, New York (April 9, 2012, 7:51 PM EDT) -- Personal product maker Jason Natural Products Inc. was hit Friday with a revised federal class action alleging that the company misled consumers in the marketing of its products as natural, with plaintiffs asserting new causes of action under federal law.

The amended complaint filed in California federal court claims that Jason and its parent company, The Hain Celestial Group Inc., violated the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and California state law by touting their products as "all natural" or "pure natural"...
