Ex-FBI Agent Gets Time For Hiding Affair With Fraud Source

Law360, New York (April 9, 2012, 3:21 PM EDT) -- A former FBI agent was sentenced Monday to a year and a day in prison for lying about an affair he had with a source in — and later target of — police investigations into mortgage fraud.

Adrian Busby was convicted in November of four counts of making false statements related to his mistress, a reported loan officer he signed up as a confidential source to try to shield her from local police.
