Hollywood Atty Sues Herbalife Heir Over Malpractice Suit

Law360, New York (April 10, 2012, 12:48 PM EDT) -- Entertainment lawyer Hillel Chodos on Friday sued the heir to Herbalife International Inc. and Brentwood Legal Services LLP in California state court, alleging they brought a "malicious" legal malpractice complaint over Chodos' handling of a $360 million estate.

Alexander Hughes, the only heir to the estate of his late father and herbal supplement company founder Mark Hughes, had previously sued Chodos, alleging the attorney entered the estate into unnecessary legal proceedings to jack up legal fees.
