Universal Instruments Prevails In Patent Suit Over Printed Circuit Boards

Law360, New York (April 15, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Texas federal court has ruled in favor of Universal Instruments in a patent lawsuit brought by two inventors of a technology used in manufacturing printed circuit boards that are part of computers, cell phones, and other electronic devices.

Judge Lee H. Rosenthal of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas issued his judgment after a jury in the case last month, after a jury ruled for the defendant on all counts.
