Contractors Oppose Defense Bill's No-Bid Research Provision

Law360, New York (April 13, 2012, 4:26 PM EDT) -- A contractor group on Thursday urged lawmakers to reject a legislative proposal that would grant the U.S. Department of Defense the ability to award no-bid, multiyear contracts to federally funded research and development centers, saying the DOD request would unnecessarily limit competition.
