4th Circ. Revives $5M Navy Procurement Dispute

Law360, New York (April 13, 2012, 7:04 PM EDT) -- The Fourth Circuit on Friday overturned a lower court ruling against a consulting firm looking to recover more than $5 million from a government contractor, ruling that breach of contract claims against Swiftships Shipbuilders LLC should be reinstated because of an ambiguous contract provision.

Lion Associates LLC agreed to provide services helping Swiftships secure government contracts for its military vessels for a fee of $7,500 per month and "3 percent of each new contract brought to Swift[ships], which was obtained by Lion," according to the ruling....
