Vivendi's $611M TV Buy Faces Scrutiny From French Watchdog

Law360, New York (April 17, 2012, 3:56 PM EDT) -- France's antitrust regulator said Tuesday that a plan by Vivendi SA subsidiary Canal Plus SA to buy two free television channels from conglomerate Bollore SA for $611 million posed a threat to competition and warranted a full investigation.
