5th Circ. Dials Down Retirees' ERISA Row Against AT&T

Law360, New York (April 17, 2012, 4:24 PM EDT) -- The Fifth Circuit on Monday upheld a lower court's ruling that AT&T did not violate the Employee Retirement Income Security Act by downsizing telephone services offered through a retiree reimbursement program, finding the program did not constitute a pension plan.
