BAE, 2 Cos. Join Forces To Bid For US Satellite Contract

Law360, New York (April 17, 2012, 8:14 PM EDT) -- Britain's BAE Systems PLC is joining forces with Virginia-based ITT Exelis and New York's L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. to bid for a contract to manage U.S. Air Force satellite launches, ITT Exelis announced Tuesday.

The joint venture, called IBL JV, will bid on a U.S. Air Force Space Command contract known as a planned Launch and Test Range System Integrated Support Contract, or LISC, according to ITT Exelis.
