Judge OKs Rerun Of 'Desperate Housewives' Firing Trial

Law360, Los Angeles (April 18, 2012, 3:33 PM EDT) -- A California state judge on Wednesday refused to toss Nicollette Sheridan's lawsuit against the producers of the ABC show "Desperate Housewives," paving the way for a new trial over the actress's wrongful termination case, which ended last month in a hung jury.

Judge Elizabeth Allen White rejected Touchstone Television Productions LLC's bid to have judgment issued in its favor rather than have a second trial over Sheridan's claims.
