Still Under Regulator Fire, Sentinel Turns To Trustee

Law360, New York (August 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Overwhelmed by the regulatory actions it has been slammed with in the last week over alleged securities fraud, Sentinel Management Group Inc. has asked the bankruptcy court to appoint a trustee to oversee its operations.

The floundering fund filed papers on Tuesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois, saying that the combination of last week's action by the National Futures Association and Monday's fraud suit from the Securities and Exchange Commission has left it unable to manage operations on its own....
