Split Fed. Circ. Tosses Iraq Contract Claim As Premature

Law360, New York (April 23, 2012, 7:17 PM EDT) -- A divided Federal Circuit on Friday dismissed a contractor's auditor-backed attempt to collect $2.5 million still owed to a subcontractor on Iraq building projects, saying the contractor couldn't sue for the unpaid claim under the Contract Disputes Act unless the government disputes it.
