Sex Shouldn't Erase Hospital VP's Bribery Sentence, US Says

Law360, New York (April 20, 2012, 6:03 PM EDT) -- Prosecutors insisted Friday that the sex addiction of a former executive at a federally funded Cleveland hospital should not wipe out his prison sentence for bribery and other charges, arguing the revelation of his obsession would not have affected the case's outcome.

John J. Carroll, a former vice president at MetroHealth System Facilities, was sentenced to nine years in prison and ordered to pay $728,00 in restitution in January 2011, after he accepted a plea bargain in a long-standing corruption probe in Cuyahoga County, Ohio....
