Summit Agrees To Restore Wetlands, Undercuts Enviros' Suit

Law360, New York (April 23, 2012, 6:19 PM EDT) -- A building company managed by Summit Associates Inc. said Monday it would restore nearly 100 acres of wetlands at the massive Raritan Center business park in New Jersey, partially undermining a complaint filed last week criticizing the developer for alleged environmental violations.

Garden State Buildings LP will carry out a three-year plan to clear 19.14 acres of improperly filled-in wetlands, and will restore, enhance or preserve a partially overlapping block of 77.27 acres, according to an amended consent order that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency filed...
