Hyundai False Advertising Suit Dodges First Roadblock

Law360, Los Angeles (April 23, 2012, 5:44 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge Monday tentatively refused to throw out a putative class action accusing Hyundai Motor America of falsely advertising that its Elantra sedan would get 40 miles per gallon in highway driving, saying the plaintiff’s state law claims aren’t barred by federal regulations.
