Alliant Settles FCA Claims Over Faulty Flares For $37M

Law360, New York (April 23, 2012, 9:55 PM EDT) -- An Alliant Techsystems Inc. unit on Monday agreed to pay $37 million to settle a whistleblower's False Claims Act suit alleging the contractor sold dangerous and defective illumination flares to the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force.
