Microsoft Wants Visto's Discovery Request Tossed

Law360 (August 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Accusing Visto Corp. of making a “last-ditch effort” to find new infringement theories in an ongoing patent suit over e-mail on cell phones, Microsoft Corp. said on Thursday that the court should dismiss the company's bid for more discovery.

Microsoft contended that the motion was untimely and Visto should have asked for the information it said it needed a long time ago.
