UK Minister Objected To BSkyB Antitrust Probe

Law360, New York (April 24, 2012, 8:14 PM EDT) -- The U.K. minister with authority over News Corp.'s abandoned $13 billion bid for British Sky Broadcasting PLC wanted to avoid a full antitrust review, which he feared would kill the deal, according to evidence provided Tuesday, raising questions about the country's review process for media mergers.
