DOT Offers Calif. Highway Projects Up To $764M In Loans

Law360, New York (April 24, 2012, 8:07 PM EDT) -- Two California infrastructure projects made the U.S. Department of Transportation's short list for a federally subsidized loan on Tuesday, giving them the chance to rake in $764 million in funding to help the state push through a highway expansion and bridge replacement.

The federal agency formally invited the projects' state handlers to apply for a loan through the Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act.
