Kazakhstan Prez's Family Launches $20M NYC Condo Dispute

Law360, New York (April 26, 2012, 3:32 PM EDT) -- The brother of Kazakhstan's president filed a lawsuit in New York state court Wednesday accusing his fugitive ex-wife of duping him into buying a $20 million Manhattan luxury condo and signing it over to her son for free.

Bolat Nazarbayev wants back the Fifth Avenue rental he says his former stepson, Daniyar Kesikbayev, has held onto thanks to a phony power-of-attorney transfer, along with separate investments in two other New York apartments Kesikbayev allegedly diverted to himself.
