Nature's Way Faces False Ad Suit Over Homeopathics

Law360, Chicago (April 26, 2012, 5:18 PM EDT) -- Nature's Way Products Inc. is facing a false advertising putative class action alleging the company markets homeopathic products as a cure-all for ailments without any reliable scientific evidence to support its claims, according to documents filed in California federal court Wednesday.

Nature's Way removed the lawsuit that plaintiff Sam Pfleg lodged in California state court in March, which claims that the company's products are simply sugar pills and water-based creams that do not work as advertised or provide any of their promised benefits.
