Space Contractors Urge Congress To Ease Satellite Exports

Law360, New York (April 26, 2012, 3:13 PM EDT) -- American aerospace contractors on Wednesday urged lawmakers to follow a U.S. Department of Defense suggestion that would loosen export controls on satellites and satellite components, saying legal restrictions on widely available commercial technology have hurt the U.S. space industrial base.
