Google, AOL Sued Over E-Mail Interpretation Patent

Law360, New York (August 28, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- America Online Inc., Google Inc., Yahoo! Inc. and Amazon.com Inc. are among the targets of a recently filed lawsuit accusing the defendants of implementing Web sites that interpret electronic messages in a way that infringes a single patent held by plaintiff Polaris IP LLC.
