Bankruptcy Judge OKs 4Kids' $10M Sale Of 'Yu-Gi-Oh' Rights

Law360, New York (April 27, 2012, 7:46 PM EDT) -- A New York bankruptcy judge granted approval Friday to bidding procedures and a $10 million stalking horse agreement for 4Kids Entertainment Inc.'s assets related to the popular Japanese animated show “Yu-Gi-Oh,” which it's seeking to sell to Kidsco Media Ventures LLC.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Shelley C. Chapman also granted the debtor a 60-day extension of the period during which it alone can file a Chapter 11 plan of reorganization in its case.
