Burberry Sues Iconix Over Signature Check Trademark

Law360, New York (August 28, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A move by Iconix’s London Fog brand to sell trench coats and scarves has spurred luxury goods company Burberry Ltd. to file a trademark infringement suit claiming that Iconix’s apparel comes too close to Burberry’s prominent check pattern.
