Investor Claims Allscripts Concealed Merger Woes

Law360, New York (May 3, 2012, 7:00 PM EDT) -- An investor on Wednesday accused Allscripts Healthcare Solutions Inc. in a proposed class action in Illinois federal court of concealing problems sparked by a 2010 merger with Eclipsys Corp., causing the firm's stock price to crash when the truth was revealed.

Bristol County Retirement System alleges that Allscripts violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 when it hid from investors problems the provider of electronic health record management systems was experiencing integrating its systems and product lines with Eclipsys after a 2010 merger.
