EMC, GoDaddy Wrongly Joined In Texas IP Row: Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (May 4, 2012, 8:27 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit ruled Friday that EMC Corp., GoDaddy.com Inc. and other unrelated companies were improperly joined as defendants in a case over data storage patents, a decision that could break up many multidefendant cases pending in the Eastern District of Texas.
