Insurers Sue Car Parts Maker Hennessy Over Asbestos Claims

Law360, New York (May 9, 2012, 9:13 PM EDT) -- Continental Casualty Co. and Columbia Casualty Co. on Monday sued car parts machinery maker Hennessy Industries Inc. and a slew of its insurers in Illinois court to limit their liability in asbestos-related injuries claims against Hennessy.

Hennessy has sought coverage for lawsuits arising from injuries allegedly caused by exposure to asbestos through the use of products manufactured, distributed or sold by its predecessor Ammco Tools Inc.
