Allergan Sued Over Dry Eye Patent

Law360 (September 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Boston-based ophthalmic products research center has taken aim at Allergan Inc. in a patent infringement suit over its dry eye treatment.

Ocular Research of Boston Inc. filed a suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Friday, alleging that Allergan used confidential information disclosed to it by ORB to develop eye care products that infringe ORB’s patent covering a dry eye treatment process and solution.
