Home Depot Denies Negligence In Ladder Suit

Law360, New York (September 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Home Depot USA Inc. said Friday that a plaintiff in one of the many personal injury lawsuits against it did not use a ladder correctly, and was therefore responsible for the ladder's collapse.

In court documents filed with the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, Home Depot alleged that any injuries or damages suffered by the plaintiff were due to his own negligence and not that of the company.
