Bausch & Lomb Settles Suits Over Proposed Merger

Law360, New York (September 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bausch & Lomb Inc. disclosed Friday that it has agreed to settle a pair of shareholder lawsuits relating to its proposed merger with private equity firm Warburg Pincus LLC.

In a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Bausch & Lomb said it had entered into a memorandum of understanding to make additional disclosures to its shareholders regarding the deal.
