Acacia Sues Intel, AMD Over Memory Cache Patent

Law360, New York (May 3, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Acacia Research Corp. has added Intel Corporation and Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., the world’s top computer chip makers, to its patent infringement litigation over computer memory cache coherency technology.

The litigation, which is pending in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, was filed by the Computer Cache Coherency Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary that is part of the Acacia Technologies group.
