Suit Blasts Chobani Greek Yogurt's All-Natural Claims

Law360, New York (May 14, 2012, 9:48 PM EDT) -- A putative class of yogurt buyers on Monday launched a suit in California accusing yogurt maker Chobani Inc. of misleadingly advertising its products as all natural and overstating the healthiness of its Greek yogurts by using the term "evaporated cane juice" instead of "sugar."

Katie Kane launched the suit on behalf of a putative class of people who have purchased Chobani Greek yogurt in the past four years, alleging the products labeled "all natural" in fact contained artificial ingredients, flavorings, coloring and/or chemical preservatives.
