Wal-Mart Tries To Keep Documents Off-Limits

Law360, New York (September 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Wal-Mart Stores Inc. filed a motion Tuesday to keep many of its documents under wraps in a federal suit that alleges the company exploited a group of New Jersey janitors.

The plaintiffs' attorney, Jim Linsey of Cohen Weiss & Simon LLP, said Wal-Mart's “blanket use of confidentiality is unwarranted, abusive and an obstruction of the discovery process” in a letter he sent Judge Madeline Cox Arleo on Friday.
