Don King's Co. Sends Rothstein Clawback To District Court

Law360, New York (May 16, 2012, 8:34 PM EDT) -- A fraudulent transfer suit brought against Don King Productions Inc. by the Chapter 11 trustee of Ponzi schemer Scott Rothstein's defunct law firm can be removed to district court, a Florida judge ruled Tuesday, but discovery and nondispositive pretrial motions will remain in bankruptcy court.

Herbert Stettin, trustee for Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler PA, filed the adversary proceeding in an attempt to recover funds which the boxing promoter's company had allegedly received from the firm prior to its November 2009 bankruptcy.
