McCarthy Reps Bentall In $396M Vancouver Tower Buyback

Law360, New York (May 17, 2012, 5:34 PM EDT) -- Real estate asset manager Bentall Kennedy LP said Wednesday it has bought back a $396 million Vancouver office tower on behalf of its Canadian pension clients, three years after developing the building and selling it to German private investment firm Deka Immobilien GmbH.

The 33-story, 583,000-square-foot Bentall V tower, located in the heart of Vancouver’s central business district, is one of Canada’s premier office towers, Bentall Kennedy said. It is fully leased to tenants including Canadian miner Teck Resources Ltd. and Canadian law firm Fasken Martineau...
