Ex-Corps Official, Son Plead Guilty To $1B Bribery Scheme

Law360, Washington (May 17, 2012, 7:14 PM EDT) -- A former U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project manager and his son pled guilty Thursday in Washington federal court to charges stemming from a bribery case involving more than $1 billion worth of information technology contracts.

Kerry F. Khan pled guilty to one count of bribery and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering — which hold maximum sentences of 15 years and 20 years, respectively — for his involvement in a kickback scheme to funnel business to Nova Datacom LLC under a $1 billion...
