TV Writer Cancels 'White Collar' Suit Against Fox, Others

Law360, New York (May 21, 2012, 6:12 PM EDT) -- A television writer on Friday dropped his suit against "White Collar" producer Jeff Eastin, Fox Television Studios Inc. and others, days after a California judge trimmed his suit that claimed he was denied earnings and credit as a co-creator of the show.

Dennis Travis Romero has sought to dismiss his suit with prejudice, Adam Levin of Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP, an attorney for Fox, confirmed Monday. The move follows California Superior Court Judge Rolf M. Treu's May 15 ruling that rejected without prejudice Romero's claims...
