Feds Say NY Consultant Doesn't Deserve Retrial Over $2M Scam

Law360, New York (May 21, 2012, 6:03 PM EDT) -- Former New York City Department of Education consultant Willard “Ross” Lanham is not entitled to a retrial for his conviction for skimming $1.7 million from city projects, federal prosecutors argued in a memorandum filed Monday.

Lanham was convicted on four counts of theft and fraud by a Manhattan jury in March.
