Tribune's $7B Reorganization Plan Is On Track, Attys Say

Law360, Wilmington (May 29, 2012, 7:25 PM EDT) -- Attorneys for the bankrupt Tribune Co. told a Delaware court Tuesday that they've made progress addressing creditors' concerns about the media giant's $7 billion reorganization plan but will still require next week's scheduled confirmation hearing to resolve some of these objections.

In a hearing held mostly by telephone before U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin J. Carey, Tribune attorneys outlined the company's progress on the road to reorganization, with the next milestone being the Chapter 11 confirmation hearing set to begin June 7.
