Ecuadoreans Confront Chevron Over $18B Oil Spill Judgment

Law360, New York (May 30, 2012, 10:49 PM EDT) -- Ecuadorean villagers on Wednesday launched a lawsuit against Chevron Corp. in a Canadian court seeking to enforce the $18 billion judgment that resulted from a decades-old oil spill, which Chevron has resisted because it believes the order was issued fraudulently.
