Goldman, Tishman Move To Nix Ice Rink Owner's Building Suit

Law360, New York (June 1, 2012, 5:33 PM EDT) -- Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Tishman Construction Corp. moved Thursday to dismiss a negligence suit against them, saying Rink Management Services Corp. couldn't prove alleged unsafe construction work near Battery Park in New York City was legally negligent.

Goldman and Tishman said that an amended complaint filed May 11 should be dismissed because it did not allege any act by the two companies that would justify a negligence or private nuisance charge.
