ConAgra Blast Victims Win $180M Jury Award

Law360, New York (June 1, 2012, 4:40 PM EDT) -- An Illinois federal jury awarded more than $180 million on Friday to three workers who were burned in an explosion at a grain mill owned by ConAgra Foods Inc.

After 10 hours of deliberation following a one-month trial before U.S. District Judge Michael J. Reagan, a jury awarded approximately $180.3 million in damages to John W. Jentz, Robert Schmidt and Justin Becker, three men who were working in a ConAgra grain facility in downstate Illinois when it went up in flames on April 27, 2010....
