SEC Taps 2 New Deputies For Asset Management Unit

Law360, New York (June 5, 2012, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has appointed two deputy chiefs for its asset management unit in the wake of the group's co-chief's departure to Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, an SEC enforcement official confirmed Tuesday.

Julie Riewe and Marshall Sprung, who had been assistant directors in the asset management unit of the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, will fill the void left by Robert Kaplan, who left after 17 years at the agency.
