NJ Looks To Streamline Turnover Of Commercial Space

Law360, New York (June 6, 2012, 7:28 PM EDT) -- New Jersey will formally publish proposed regulations later this month that would streamline the review process for alternation and reconstruction plans in commercial buildings and make it easier to move new tenants into leased space.

The proposed “plan release with conditions” rule from the state Department of Community Affairs will eliminate delays caused by multiple reviews of the plans for such projects, helping business owners and project managers better predict occupancy dates, according to the agency.
