McCain Calls For Special Prosecutor To Probe Security Leaks

Law360, New York (June 12, 2012, 3:24 PM EDT) -- Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., on Tuesday called for U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to appoint an outside special investigator to delve into recent leaks about national security operations, including cyberattacks against Iran's nuclear program.

The move comes just days after Holder appointed two U.S. attorneys to lead probes into the leaks, which incensed Republicans who want to see an independent counsel appointed.
