Four Auto Parts Price-Fixing MDLs Combined In Mich.

Law360, New York (June 13, 2012, 5:42 PM EDT) -- Putative class actions alleging that a group of auto parts makers violated antitrust laws by engaging in bid-rigging and price-fixing were combined Wednesday and will now be heard as multidistrict litigation in Michigan federal court.

The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation sent three existing MDLs, each composed of three or more individual suits and separately alleging that car parts makers fixed prices on instrument panel clusters, fuel senders and heating control panels, to the eastern district of Michigan to be rolled into a fourth MDL...
