Developer Can't Block $125M Domino Sugar Housing Financing

Law360, New York (June 15, 2012, 3:25 PM EDT) -- A New York appeals court refused Thursday to block the $125 million refinancing of the 11-acre, 2,200-unit Domino Sugar Refinery residential housing project on the Brooklyn waterfront, about six weeks after another judge said the deal could go forward.

In a brief order, a five-judge panel of a Manhattan-based state appeals court denied a motion to stay the refinancing while an appeal is pending before the court.
